Baxters names King as Deputy Chief Executive

Baxters Food Group has appointed Bill King, current Chief Operating Officer, to the new position of Deputy Chief Executive.

The UK soup and sauces maker said King will take up the role with immediate effect, August 18.

King joined the business in 2002, as Supply Chain Director from Seagram Spirits and Wine Group.

In August 2006, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for Baxters’ manufacturing plants in the UK, Canada and Poland.

Audrey Baxter, Chairman and CEO, said: “Bill has helped develop Baxters throughout his tenure as Chief Operating Officer and this new appointment will enable him to implement our long-term strategic plans to expand in the UK and internationally.”
