Google had developed a version of its online advertising platform AdSense for mobiles.
The new program will allow online publishers with mobile-friendly Web sits to accept ads on their Web pages.
It will operate in a similar way to the existing AdSense for the Web which AdSense places links on relevant Web pages that correspond to the publishers’ content.
Both versions of AdSense run on Google's auction model with publishers earning money sites every time a user clicks on the link
The companies can either provide one advertising slot inside the page, or two slots at the bottom.
Google is currently offering the mobile AdSense program in a group 11 countries which include the UK, US, France and Germany.
The move follows last week’s rollout of AdWords Mobile, which allows advertisers to buy space on Google’s search results.
The announcement from Google comes just one day after handset maker Nokia jumped into the mobile advertising market with the purchase of ad firm Enpocket.
The two companies will contend for pieces of a mobile advertising market that is expected to balloon to $11.35bn over the next four years.
