Located in Pompano Beach, Florida, Straticon Construction is a rising company that participates in the development of major construction property in southeastern Florida. Straticon will assist customers in all facets of the construction development process; everything from design review to quality control falls under the company’s umbrella.

Established in 1991, Straticon began strictly as a specialty contracting company. Today many consider it one of the largest full-service construction organizations in Southern Florida.

Services

Straticon’s services with many of their clients are very detailed. They get involved in a project from its earliest stages to the last beginnings.

As their website says, “Many of our largest clients retain us to perform pre-construction services as early as the conceptual phase of a project. We will assist them in developing a construction budget by providing bids from pre-qualified subcontractors. We will also work with the design professionals to establish cost effective designs, and suggest alternate materials and sources. We are retained as the general contractor in most cases, but will continue the role as the construction manager at the client’s request.”

In the pre-construction phase, Straticon’s services include: design review, capital needs assessment, code compliance review, estimating and budgeting, value engineering, scheduling, logistics planning, qualifying subcontractors, zoning planning, permitting, and fire review as well as design/build team.

During the construction phase, Straticon offers the following services; construction management, general contractor, project management, field engineering and supervision, construction coordination, progress reports, cost and quality control and close out documentation. They also can provide in-house demolition, framing, drywall, finishes, concrete restoration and masonry.

One thing that Straticon is able to boast is an impressive list of clients. It’s surely helped them become such a fast growing company. According to the Straticon website, “Our list of clients includes high-profile developers such as: The Related Group of Florida, The Blackstone Group, BlackRock, MCZ/Centrum and Fortune International. In the fall of 2007, Straticon received a special acknowledgement for “Condo-Conversion of the Year for 2006” by the Developers and Builders Alliance in recognition of the Tides on Hollywood Beach.

The company’s projects include: The New Harbour House, Mariners Key, Ritz Carlton, Casa Casuarina, residences on Hollywood beach and the Tiara Condominium. The New Harbour House and the Tiara Condominium are both particularly impressive projects with contracts totally at US$53 million and US$30 million respectively.

And according to the company, there are more projects on the way. Straticon is currently pursuing commercial construction projects in the South Florida market.
