DHL wins shipping contract with Lord and Taylor

DHL, the world’s leading express delivery and logistics company, today announced that it has been chosen as the exclusive US and international express shipping provider for Lord and Taylor.
The department store chose DHL in order to improve distribution for its retail store network throughout the US, enhance merchandising capabilities for its new internet presence, and support its ongoing brand campaign that spotlights the company’s reputation for quality, customer care and style.
Partnership
DHL will handle all US and international package shipments for Lord and Taylor, including shipments to and from Lord and Taylor’s distribution center in Pennsylvania and 47 retail stores in nine states throughout the US.
Through the new agreement, Lord and Taylor can also offer store customers the added convenience of delivery of in-store items purchased at any Lord and Taylor store. DHL will deliver these items upon request by customers to a business or residence.

DHL is the global market leader of the international express and logistics industry. Lord and Taylor is America’s oldest department store, with 12,000 employees in 47 stores.
