It’s the perfect time of year to breathe in some fresh ocean air. The Paris International Boat Show couldn’t come at a better time, especially as the choppy waves led way to calm waters ideal for scouting out your next luxury yacht or sailboat. Just imagine your hair blowing in the mind, the faint whiff of salt water tickling your nose and the sun beaming down on your neck – without a care in the world, that yacht you bought from Nautic was a great decision.
Now celebrating its 51st year, Nautic, the Paris International Boat Show, will officially open this weekend at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. The spectacular seaborne event is expected to welcome a quarter of a million guests through December 11 for more than the nautical buys – the Paris International Boat Show also features the legendary 10km Stand-Up Paddleboard race. Champion or not, it’s an international spectacle.
French sailboat design team The Bénéteau Group will be premiering several new models at the legendary Paris International Boat Show, including the Océanis 41, 45 and 48. The sailboats on display tease Nautic guests interested in spacious and innovative sailboats, as well as patrons simply meandering its widespread lots. Additional premiers from The Bénéteau Group include the Jeanneau models Sun Odyssey 379, 439, 509 and 44DS.
Of course, after 50 years it’s not surprising that Nautic is looking back to the past – safety standards, comfort and speed have all been elevated to adhere to today’s modern standards, and not surprisingly The Bénéteau Group falls to the forefront. New designs in motorboat standards have been accelerated yet again with the Paris International Boat Show premieres of Barracuda 9, Antares 7.80 and 8.80.
