Who says the superyacht is dead? According to the Singapore Yacht Show, the superyacht is alive and well – and the highlight of this year’s show in April.
Luxury yacht brands will be out in full force for the Singapore Yacht Show 2012, where today’s astounding and prominent luxury yacht manufacturers are expected to showcase their brand’s versatility this season. The leading yacht event in the Asian Pacific region, 2012 also signifies a milestone for the annual harbor event – as international yacht leaders like Palmer Johnson and Feadship will take part in this year’s festivities.
Yacht shows are major affairs for boat lovers far and wide, and this year’s yachting occasion at ONE°15 Marina Club is likely to attract a much wider audience via additional exhibitor participation in the maritime, design, electronics and accessory spectrum. The international audience – and renowned proprietors like Simpson Marie Group, San Lorenzo, Burgess, Ocean Independence and Prout International – is expected to raise the bar at this year’s second annual Singapore Yacht Show.
“The show is obviously much bigger this year, and many of Asia’s wealthiest entrepreneurs, business people and movers and shakers will be converging on Singapore to see some of the biggest names in yacht building and brokerage,” said Andy Treadwell, Managing Director of Informa Yacht Group. “These guys are coming half way round the world to present some very well-known and eagerly anticipated boats which are making their Asian débuts at the Singapore Yacht Show.”
The highlight of April’s show includes Feadship’s Helix Yacht at 48m and San Lorenzo’s Onyx at 43m. Legendary superyachts will meet together on the dock at ONE°15 Marina Club where more than 6,000 visitors will pursue these international purveyors. It is the era of the superyacht, and you'd best get on board.
