We love our Batman (as you’ll notice in our July issue), but we’re not the only one that gets tingly when the Dark Knight appears. Apparently, the luxury sports car brand Lamborghini is also infatuated with taking a nighttime rooftop leap with the infamous Bruce Wayne, pushing their new Lamborghini Aventador into the latest Batman film.
Bruce Wayne already defines “cool” with the custom vehicles and luxury gadgets at his disposal, so it’s not surprising that he chose such a bad-ass dominating piece for the new film: Italy’s famed vehicle, the Lamborghini Aventador. Sure, we loved the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640in the last film, but there were reasons why this vehicle had to be returned – after saving someone’s life, how much farther can you possibly leap?

“Batman: The Dark Knight Rises” is currently in production, with Bruce Wayne kicking some serious ass all over the screen. According to notable auto blogs, the Gotham inspired Lamborghini Aventador will race through the screen this summer when the new film premieres. Aptly named for after a Spanish bull that rode to victory from Don Celestino Paintings Vides more than a decade ago, the feature will likely film more than a simple victory lap this time around; being that this vehicle is one of the most precious Lamborghini’s on the market, the Aventador is already an outright star.
A rumored silver screen picture since 2008’s San Diego Comic Con, “Watchmen” director Zach Snyder revealed to guests that the new film was in the works – at least theoretically. With the new “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises” is in production, Bruce Wayne and his Lamborghini’s are back – and better than ever.
