This weekend, Del Mar Race Track will be transformed into a showroom for the most authentic and antique classic automobiles. Offering spectators only the most originally designed and unique creations, the Del Mar Concours d’Elegance is becoming a premier Southern California event.

Welcoming car enthusiasts this Sunday, the Del Mar Paddock will envelop the arena, home to Southern California’s signature summertime horse racing event. From the world’s most famous automobiles, like Rolls Royce and Jaguar, to classic Corvettes that are hardly seen anymore, the Del Mar Concours d’Elegance event is a spectacular weekend affair.

To add some icing on the cake, Concours d’Elegance will welcome Pebble Beach winners who have achieved great success over time for their elegant designs and engineering with their own signature innovations. Del Mar’s Chairman and CEO Tim Henry said in regards to welcoming Pebble Beach winners: “We are extremely honored to have these participants in this event this year. Spectators will be able to see the best in the world right here in San Diego.”

Celebrating just two years, the Del Mar Concours d’Elegance will welcome both automobiles and motorcycles to the Del Mar Racetracks in Del Mar, California. The two day event, marked by an opening ceremony on Saturday with a special “Celebration of the Motorcycle,” this unique ceremony will showcase vintage and classic bikes, as well as autos. “By separating these two genres,” Henry said, “it allows these marvels of motordom to have their own day in the limelight. It also allows spectators a chance to truly enjoy these machines for their design and place in history.”
