Lexus Unveils Concept Car at Detroit Auto Show

Only its sleek body is revealed on the Lexus website, but fellow auto bloggers like Automoblog have learned a bit more about the latest Lexus concept car that is set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show this month.

The Lexus LF-LC Concept Car rekindles the fire that brought Lexus to the forefront of the luxury car industry years ago. The revelation comes in sultry red with tailored headlights and robust frame reminiscent of the Batmobile. Though the details are slim just days in advance of the Detroit Auto Show unveiling, one thing is certain – the Lexus LF-LC Concept Car will grab everyone’s attention.

The reaction and introduction of the Lexus Concept Car comes with both relief and trepidation, as the Lexus luxury concept car could potentially ignite the legendary sports car company’s rise to the top of the market again, or slowly see it falter.

Their reputation has all been slandered by meager 2011 sales and lackluster responses in part by their parent company, so Lexus has a lot riding on this luxury concept vehicle.

The initial images of the Lexus LF-LC are hardly what you’d expect from a Lexus luxury car, but that’s a beautiful thing. The lines of the two-door sports car are armed and powerful, offering drivers a confidence that Lexus hasn’t exuded since the ‘90s. The concept car is still just a concept, but drivers can expect to see a rise in interest once the Detroit Auto Show premieres Lexus’ new “Red Riding Hood” on January 9th.
