Big anniversaries call for big celebrations and upping the ante for the big 4-0, BMW is bringing the luxurious M3 Coupé Frozen Silver Edition, designed as part of BMW M GmbH’s anniversary, to the U.K.
Already sold to an exclusive handful of drivers in the U.S. and Singapore, a scant hundred of the high performance sports cars will be sold in the U.K. The eagerly-awaited coupé will go on sale June 1, 2012, when a few lucky fanatics will be snatching up the coveted collectible.
Powered by an impressive 420hp V8 engine with the standard BWM seven-speed M DCT transmission and variable M differential, this vehicle easily quenches a ferocious desire to burn some rubber. A revised DSC+ system and 10 mm lowered suspension featuring a three-stage Electronic Damper Control offer a sampling of the car’s range of performance-enhancing features.

BMW’s real strength, as favorites of the brand know, comes with the ability to meld superior style, luxury accents and smart details with an ability to leave competition in the dust. The first BMW to sport the Frozen Silver metallic paint, a unique matte finish bringing to mind brushed aluminum and offset by a high-sheen Shadowline exterior trim, the car also sports 19-inch matte black alloy wheels, dark chrome exhaust, side gills and kidney surrounds, and a jet black bonnet.

Inside the cabin passengers are treated to the very picture of luxury: Black Novilla leather accented with contrast stitching, an Alcantara steering wheel and sporty carbon fiber.
