Here at Exec Digital, we like quirky gadgets. So when we found a motorcycle that was built to replicate one from our favorite film remake of last year, ‘Tron: Legacy,’ we couldn’t wait to share.
Evolve Motorcycles built the Xenon, a “light bike” that can speed up to 100 miles per hour for up to 100 miles and is completely electric. Sure we like light electric vehicles, but that’s not where Xenon shines – the light bike shines from the tires. If you watched the 2010 Jeff Bridges film, you’ll recall the fast-paced scene where the young son outraces computer widgets in a lighting battle of death.

You hopefully won’t have to speed off into the distance in a drag race, but this completely electric bike might make you feel like you have to. The Xenon from Evolve Motorcycles is a “labor of love,” with 32” hub-less wheels, oled light tape, a handcrafted fiberglass frame and a custom built lithium ion battery system developed specifically for the Xenon motorcycle.
The electric bike isn’t terribly new, but one with rimless wheels and a florescent hue that was inspired by a popular film is. Xenon is priced at $55,000 but CharityBuzz is offering the customized bike for $29,000 (set to end March 14).
For anyone with fond memories of the computerized original, Tron defined a film revolution where technology was introduced in film. Driving this high-end futuristic bike that is totally customizable will definitely appeal to your interests there.
