David Hasselhoff - the hunky and hokey celebrity icon - was in San Diego Friday afternoon to promote the Knight Rider DVD collection, and a special edition Knight Rider Hot Wheels toy car at the Comicon Convention. We got front row to his signing, and were afforded the opportunity to go behind the velvet ropes and witness Hasselhoff's appearance personally, as well as get a coveted look at the original Knight Rider car.
Hasselhoff who brought along his gorgeous Australian girlfriend Hayley Roberts, looked great. Surprisingly, he is strikingly tall, buff and glowingly handsome. This man is a legend for a reason - he is wildly charming. He was wearing designer trousers, sporting a tan and shared some good-natured laughs and jokes with Roberts, as well as making the crowd erupt with laughter numerous times.
(The couple seems very much in love. Roberts has to be the most in-shape woman I have seen in my entire life, she has a body one could only describe as boulder-buff. As in, she is as hard as a boulder. )

But enough about my star-struckedness, what did ol' handsome Dave have to say?
This: "Everyone, if you love Knight Rider as much as I do contact the studio and ask them to make a full-length movie, and tell them you want David Hasselhoff to star in it. Write them, tweet them, let them know!"
David went on to explain how amazing the experience working on Knight Rider was, and how the TV show was way ahead of its time, and would probably do much better in today's market. Seems like the Hoff has some big hopes of getting a studio funded chance to drive down memory lane.
