If Jeffrey Katzenberg’s twenty million dollar mansion is any homage to the potential for fat stacks of cash in the cartoon business–then it pays to play make believe. The former Disney Chairman and current Dreamworks CEO put his 14,100 square foot ski chalet on the market and the home is palatial to say the least.
Nestled in the mountains of Deer Park, UT in the coveted and private Bald Eagle Club neighborhood, the home sprawls over two cul-de-sac lots and boasts seven rooms, seven bathrooms and three half bathrooms.
However, the property’s entertainment amenities are where the real money is at. Multiple lounging areas that are more reminiscent of Aspen Hotel lobby’s than living rooms, a billiard room, a game room, an indoor plunge pool and spa, an included 80 inch LCD TV, a ski room with a bar and fireplace and its own private ski run are just a few of the features that make this luxury property truly an outstanding home to entertain and wow guests.

The décor of the celebrity home is also the crème-de-chic (yes I coined that phrase) and was designed by the same designer, Naomi Leff, who designed Ralph Lauren’s Double RL Ranch. Charles Gwathmey’s architect Rick Otto designed the western-inspired mansion.
The mansion retreat has hosted such big name guests as Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Bill Clinton and Michael Jackson. This is not the first time Katzenberg made real estate news this year, he also paid $35,000,000 to purchase a 6.34 acre Beverly Hills mid century mansion earlier this year. Outstanding purchases for the ninety-nine percent, but just another drop in the bucket for this entertainment mogul with a billion dollar fortune.
