Finally a home large, grand and regal enough to belt, “Alo, my name es Celine Di-on,” with proper delivery – Celine Dion’s $29,655,500 million mansion went up for sale on the Canadian market last week, and the luxury home is palatial to say the least. Officially called ‘Belle Maison’ the 24,000 square foot house is the most expensive home listed in Quebec ever.
It is actually pretty tastefully decorated –when compared to Versace’s wacky interior décor – and all of the furnishings are included in the asking price, so the sale of this French Chateau (a common theme with the world’s wealthiest palaces) is literally a turnkey sale. Included in the furnishings are Roman statues dating back 2,000 years, lavish Onyx chandeliers and custom designed Persian rugs.

The rooms of the celebrity mansion are ridiculously fabulous, including a double master suite, lavishly decorated children’s rooms, a formal stone-walled dining room, and an elite La Cornue kitchen which features four prep sinks, three ovens and four fridges. An in ground pool, stone pool house, and foliage rich terraces are also heavily featured through the river side property.
I am a huge fan of the flooring which was done in a variety of materials including herring bone, dark custom wood and opulent marble coverings. These elite amenities create an air of unmatched sophistication that the viewing –and listening- public has come to expect from Ms. Dion. However, I do wish the wealthiest one percent would stop having King Louis XIV envy, and experiment with some architectural themes outside of the French Chateau look.
