Ryan Seacrest is one of the hardest working men in entertainment -- and he gets paid boatloads for it. He may just seem like a tanned, smiling face, but he earns WHOPPING amounts -- from his $20 million Clear Channel radio show agreement, $30 million American Idol contract, $21 million E News correspondent deal, his production company, and now his $300 million arrangement to develop programming with NBC. His newest venture is into the terrain of high-priced celebrity real estate.
Seacrest’s new home is located in the quiet, serene hills of Coldwater Canyon, and will offer him ample space to reflect on his bounty of loot. The main house sprawls over 9,200 square feet, and the property also includes not one but two guesthouses, in addition to another three bedroom house. This mega-compound sits on 2.87 acres of land, and the main home architecture was designed by famed architect firm Buff & Hensman.

DeGeneres started construction on the property in 2007, and has poured a great deal of TLC into making the home nothing short of an empire estate. Originally composed of 4 different properties, Ellen synched the homes into one bountiful mega mansion. In fact, the property was originally rumored to be listed at $60 million, and then dropped to $49 million dollars – and yet Seacrest somehow managed to steal the home for approximately twelve million dollars beneath that already discounted asking price.
So it seems while Seacrest has exquisite taste in real estate, he is first and foremost a shrewd businessman, showing no mercy to his fellow pop celeb compadre.
