Any seductive man in his right mind knows the power of a few strategically placed scented candles to enhance the romantic ambiance of a bedroom. But Yankee Candle has just released a product line aimed solely at pleasing men only, with no further suggestive goal except to make their man caves a little homier.

The recently released candles are available in scents like “Riding Mower,” “2x4,” “First Down” and the slightly puzzling … "Man Town." The scents seem fairly straight forward, with ingredients evoking fresh cut grass, sawdust and leather. You can take the scents on the road with matching air fresheners to dangle from your rear view mirror. They’ve even designed a snazzy fitted lid, ringed with silver embossed footballs and football helmets.

For a limited time, large jar candles will be offered in the scents and promise to burn for 110-150 hours, promising “true fragrance enjoyment.”

Given the fact the line just hit shelves, we wait with baited breath to see whether the manly candles will find a solid following. But for the time being, we fully support the notion that men can confidently burn candles on their own, free of their feminine counterparts suggesting we just have to try the jasmine, the sweet pea, or newest sickeningly sweet trendy nose tickler on the market.
