If you’re still stumped on what to treat her to on Valentine’s Day, London’s The Cadogan might have your answer. Whether you’re a tourist or not, indulging in The Cadogan’s Valentine’s package goes above and beyond any other extravagant affair you’ve dreamed up in the past. The Cadogan is suggesting you bathe in champagne; and not just any champagne, but Dom Perignon Vintage.
Luxury brands have gone all out this year to celebrate February 14 – one cupcake company even devised a $55,000 red velvet cupcake – but jumping into a specifically designed champagne tub, where 122 bottles of your choice are poured over you and your partner, is verging on insanity.
Not only are couples encouraged to choose between one extravagantly priced champagne from the next (ranging from Louis de Custine Brut that starts at $6,150 a tub to Dom Perignon Vintage that tops out at $38,500 a tub), they can also choose accessories alongside as well. A personal butler, for example, might drop off chocolate covered strawberries while you enjoy each other’s company among the bubbles.
The Cardogan offers a more traditional Valentine’s Day package as well, where guests actually drink the Perrier Jouet Champagne they are offered in the room. The “Champagne and Romance” package also includes a three course meal at the London hotel’s Langtry’s restaurant, English breakfast, a London Eye tour and late checkout.
