If you’re used to the finer things in life, dining at the best restaurants, driving the most stylish cars, it’s a real shame when you get to your exclusive gold club and find that you have to get around in something not much more sophisticated than your kid’s Cozy Coupe.
This is where the Garia, describing itself as “the ultimate European luxury golf car” comes in. Where most golf cars have all the style and luxury of a ride-on lawnmower, without the ability to cut the grass, the Garia is a finely crafted piece of luxury.
Built in the Valmet Automotive factory, alongside the Porsche Boxster and Cayman, there’s more design expertise in the Garia than there is in some cars. Featuring a cast aluminium steering wheel not too far from those of the world’s most exclusive super cars, and a double wishbone front suspension similar to what you’ll find in a Formula One inspired sports car.
As well as being something of a feat of engineering, the Garia also aims for absolute maximum comfort, featuring the largest cabin in its class, water resistant hand-stitched seats, and an actual refrigerator in the dash board.
We don’t mind saying, this golf buggy is such a pleasure to ride in, it almost seems a shame to get out of it to play golf.
