Tiger Woods recently released a hot commodity to the golf world: a hybrid golf shoe that his half Nike trainer, and half classic golf shoe. The shoes are made of a lightweight, yet durable fabric, with multidirectional stretch synthetics for better flexibility and motion. This advanced fabric was designed to better mimic the natural movement of the foot, and the shoes are being hailed by some as the most comfortable golf shoes ever.
"It was nice to try and get something that I felt comfortable in. The Free technology is something that I wear every day. I love training in them, I love running in them, lifting in them, so why can't I play golf in them," Woods said about the prototypes. "Walking out there on the golf course, it felt good to feel my foot activated. That's something that I hadn't felt in a long time. It was something that I'd always felt off the golf course but not on the golf course."

The foot activation that Woods is referring to is the shoes’ ability to let the foot stay in contact with the ground longer, and thus add more control to a player’s swing. The Nike TW ‘13s are also outfitted with six Champ spikes and a bevy of nubs so traction is decreased on slippery surfaces.
The powerful, yet comfortable shoes are available in white and black at a Nike dealer near you.
